How they work

Always live, cached at the edge, and grounded in published data.

Badges are generated on demand as plain SVG and served with long-lived edge caching, so they stay current without hammering the origin. The numbers come straight from the data behind the public CNA, vendor, and CVSS surfaces — nothing private is exposed.

The CNA grade reflects a data-quality assessment of how completely a CVE Numbering Authority populates vendor, product, CVSS, and CWE fields across its published CVEs. See the CNA directory for the full methodology and per-CNA report cards.
